Sara is thrilled to begin her first year as the head instructor and choreographer of the East Jackson High School Color Guard. A lifelong fine arts enthusiast, she has studied dance since age 3 and continues to perform as part of her Color Guard career.

From middle through high school, Sara participated in band (playing clarinet), chorus, and Women’s Ensemble. She began spinning with the Jefferson High School Color Guard as a freshman, eventually becoming head captain her senior year. After graduating, she spent two years as an assistant coach under Kristy Callum.

Sara is currently in her third season with the award-winning independent winter guard Noir Independent, which has placed 7th and 2nd at WGI World Championships. Now entering her 11th season in Color Guard, she’s eager to help East Jackson’s team grow and create lasting memories together.
