The East Jackson High School Band boasts a distinguished legacy of musical excellence that began with the program’s founding in 2008. Over the years, the band has earned a reputation for superior performance, traveling and showcasing its talent at numerous prestigious venues across the country.
The East Jackson Band Program features a diverse array of ensembles, including a dynamic marching band, two full-sized concert bands, and a jazz ensemble.
The Pride of the East Side marching band is the face of the band program and is quickly gaining state-wide attention for it's unique marching shows and unmatched spirit and presence at football games.
The program’s two concert ensembles consistently receive superior ratings and are the foundation for the band program with over 110+ students involved.
